To The Daily Sun,
Rampant claims of voter fraud seem to now be de rigueur regardless of which party’s candidate wins. A Republican (Trump) won the 2016 election. Remember the claims of Russia collusion to steal the 2016 election, which were proved false (Mueller)? All the protests and chanting of “not my president”? Hillary Clinton stating the election was not on the level because she couldn’t understand how she lost?
Also, Clinton (and others) stating that President Trump was not legitimately the president (see Washington Post headline Sept. 26, 2019)? Hakeem Jeffries (now minority leader of the House) called Trump’s win a hoax. Folks seem to have very short memories as it relates to people claiming voter fraud. The internet makes it very easy to remember if you want to. It's past time for every individual to take responsibility to "stop the madness" and regain the civility that seems in such short supply. We are all responsible to strengthen and preserve our democracy if we want to keep it.
