Jon Paul: Remember: Bullies are just cowards with big attitudes

A petty old man, consumed by greed and preoccupied with revenge, is the reason America is no longer the world’s “shining city on a hill." Our country will deal with the damage caused by this incompetent administration for decades. Here's a recent example, Donald Trump wants to spend $700 billion of taxpayers dollars to purchase a not-for-sale Greenland. Why? So much good could actually be done with that money, such as restoring essential services to the poor or paying down our national debt.

Lets see how Trump's agenda is holding up: Inflation has gone up, not down; unemployment is the highest in four years; instead of quickly ending the Russian-Ukraine war, Trump openly sides with our enemy, Russia; instead of peace in Gaza, the USA contributed $26.6 billion toward destroying the dity to make way for a Trump resort; on immigration, ICE has mastered assassinating Americans; Trump continues pushing for the reduction in the value of the dollar while pushing his family’s bogus bitcoin company; U.S. manufacturing jobs are being slashed, not created; an estimated 67% of small businesses are likely to fail due to tariffs, and consumers are shouldering the cost for these repackaged taxes; the promise of $1,200 to taxpayers didn’t happen; the national debt didn’t go down, it increased by $2.5 trillion; health care costs doubled in a year; utility bills are at an all time high; substance misuse and mental illness is still increasing with our young; the corrupted Department of Education now ensures less cognitively and socially prepared students; and whatever friends we had left in the world are politely telling us they would like to see other people now. Can’t say I blame them.

Remember, bullies are just cowards with an attitude.
