To The Daily Sun,

“Yeah, there is one thing that can stop me. My own morality, my own mind. It’s the only thing that can stop me, I have no need for international law."

If those words, from our “America First” president, doesn’t send chills down readers' spines, I don’t know what would. His morality? Seriously? That is a pretty ominous statement. Accountable to the Constitution? Nope. Congress? Nope. The Supreme Court? Nope. Accountable to the voters? Nope. Accountable to God? Nope. It's no wonder why Republicans in Congress are running for the exits and gathering up their families for protection. They see the gathering storm clouds and the coming darkness.

Our president has gone from being a dictator to now apparently wanting to become some supreme deity, (at least in his mind). I hate to burst his bubble, but the one and only God calls the shots, not despots.

Recently, a reporter asked Donald Trump if he thought he would go to heaven, he laughed at the question and responded by saying: “I don’t think there is anything that will get me into heaven." This, coming from a man who has a deliberately cruel stranglehold on the world and who most evangelical Christians still stand by and celebrate. Perhaps they forgot to tell him about grace, giving and receiving it. It’s a pretty simple concept, he should give it a try. Nobody can earn, or work their way into heaven.
