Jon Benedict: Degrading innocence of man is not the NH way

To The Daily Sun, 

I really wanted to write to the one person who has been writing about Anthony Summers, but I won't. I'll put it out there for all of Belknap County and more to read. 

For the ones who have this horrible idea that Summers is in fact "guilty" of murder and call the justice system "false," it's written in many legal books. Human beings are innocent until proven guilty. 

Now is there a case where someone is put in jail without bail before being proven guilty? Yes, trust me. I am very well-versed in that situation. Does that need to be fixed? Yes, of course. However, for one person out of many that are upset over said situation keep trying to paint this horrible picture of a man, Anthony Summers, is wrong. 

When Anthony Summers is found not guilty by a jury of 12 people, all the bad words and thoughts that one person has been writing to The Sun about, is or was, all for nothing. Keep in mind please, just because readers think someone is charged with something they are guilty, think again. They too could be on their way to eat with family or the love of their life and an accident could happen. They could end up in the same, or worse, situation as Anthony Summers and his wife, the love of his life. 

Now again, these are the true facts.
