I simply do not understand why Donald Trump has not been run out on rails, with hot tar, feathers and derision due to what he has done to our citizens, our decades-long allies, and put his name on everything, to include a memorial site, the Kennedy Center. Narcissism in the absolute worst degree.
Yet, the checks and balances designed for our republic stand silent. Cowed by the bully named Trump. He has badgered and exported our legal immigrants with non-white skin, has managed to cow the entire Republican Congress to cower and not stand up, and oh, by the way, he and his family have been enriched, not by millions, but by billions.
Where are our safeguards? Our voices? Our moral compasses? I am absolutely disgusted. He has a 36% approval rating among MAGA folks. Can’t the 64% of us get rid of this guy?
