To The Daily Sun,

More than a decade ago I was fortunate to teach mathematics at Belmont High School under the leadership of Marcia Hayward. As principal, Marcia always possessed a clear vision of what was best for the education and well-being of her students, and the support of her staff. She worked tirelessly to achieve those goals; no one worked harder in "the building" than her. During her tenure, Belmont High School was recognized as a "school of distinction" by the N.H. State Department of Education.

Marcia Hayward is honest, trustworthy and loyal, and has always subscribed to a higher moral and ethical standard. As a former U.S. Army officer, I can attest to her exceptional leadership and character. If elected, she will selflessly serve the 3rd District of Belknap County as a state representative with honor and distinction. My only regret is that I am not a resident of the 3rd District.
