The Belknap County budget process is a very difficult task to undertake. It is certainly not a scenario as some may suggest, “us against them”. Quite the contrary, it is about all of Belknap County. I commend all involved in the process for their passion, commitment, and hard work to accomplish the required goal of a responsible and fair budget. Department heads, administrator, commissioners, delegation members, and executive committee members all take their roles and responsibilities very seriously. They tirelessly work together in the struggle to achieve to best results for the 60,000+ residents of Belknap County.
