Eric Rottenecker: Blankenbeker will stand with Trump to fix health care system

It is my privilege to introduce our Republican candidate for U.S. Congressional District 2, Lynne Blankenbeker.

Lynne is a captain in the Navy Reserves and formerly the commanding officer of the Navy reserve medical unit assigned to Navy Medical Center, San Diego. Lynne has been deployed three times in support of operations in the Middle East and just returned from a deployment to the USNS Comfort in New York City.

As an accomplished combat nurse and veteran, she has dedicated herself to caring for military veterans and their families for over 34 years. Lynne commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant through Air Force ROTC. Deployed to the Middle East in 1990 as an operating room and trauma flight nurse in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. She again answered the call by joining the Navy Reserve Nurse Corps in 2000 and following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lynne obtained her Juris Doctorate Law Degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center at UNH where she dedicated herself to ensuring health care reform and veteran support for New Hampshire and the United States.

In 2009 she won a special election for the N.H. House. In the Legislature she worked on public health issues in addition to playing a key role in balancing the state's budget. She won re-election in 2010 but was unable to run again in 2012 due to being recalled to active duty for deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan.

In 2012. she was selected by the N.H. Federation of Republican women as their Woman of the Year. Before her deployment to the USNS Comfort she was a key health care policy adviser at the Pentagon and Defense Health Headquarters, ensuring our Navy Reserve Medical teams were properly maned, trained and equipped.

Lynne served as one of only 37 women on President Trump’s Women’s Advisory Board. She holds endorsements from Representatives Dan Crenshaw (TX), Michael Waltz (FL), Michael Gallagher (WI), Carol Miller (W VA), Virginia Foxx (NC) and Andy Harris (TX), The War Veterans Fund, View PAC and Maggie’s List.

Lynne has dedicated her life to caring for wounded warriors and providing voices for those in the veteran community. She stands for our Second Amendment, pro-life, stop Illegal immigration, ensure our military has the resources to keep our nation strong. Lynne will stand with Donald Trump to fix our broken health care systems and get that "do-nothing Ann Kuster” the hell out of Washington!

In passing I have found that Capt. Blankenbeker has great content of character, she talks to you and not at you and listens well. She is just the right stuff we need to send to Washington so please join me in supporting Lynne Blankenbecker (R) for Congress. 

Lynne currently lives in Concord with her husband Dennis and the proud mother of her daughter, Shannon, a practicing attorney in Texas.
