Donna Schimming: Being inconvenienced isn't something we are used to

Whether Covid19 is engineered or not, and we ARE being herded as sheep; I should point out we ARE already and have BEEN sheep for a very long time. Ever since we bought into technology and forgot about the important social issues and privileges that have been eroded from us for the past 30+ profit-over-people years.

How many times do you check your GPS, cell, internet, play your Xbox, GameBoy, Atari etc? When was the last time you attended a non-violent protest against an encompassing social issue? Never; huh, not surprising. It's so much easier to whinge out an email from the comfort of your PC while listening to YouTube, checking your FaceBook/LiveJournal/MySpace/Twitter/Instagram....ad nauseam.

You think you're not a sheep; look at the state of this county; we keep re-electing the same old rubbish that is shuffled around every four years, never making a fuss about what then becomes policy. Make a stand; lead a non-violent protest march against the huge amounts of capital being wasted on non-people issues. Maybe it WAS engineered; population control without war, hmm — "novel" concept. Perhaps the "un-sustainables" are being weeded out, pending the alien invasion? Will that be the next suggestion made?

Whatever we think we know, believe or focus on becomes our reality. How about focusing on creating a unified, productive and intelligent culture? I forgot that isn't in anyone's self interest. "Gimme that, it's mine” is our citizens's national anthem; immediate gratification, road rage, prices keep going up yet we have citizens earning minimum wage so YOU can get that huge screen TV from a third world county instead of keeping employment local. Did you write in about the tragic toll the prior SIXTY ONE epidemics this CENTURY has seen across the globe and the 300,000 who perished? Were you emailing our government to listen to the WHO and urge them to become proactive about a preparedness plan? It’s like Thanksgiving annually, epidemics occur consistently over a century — just look it up in a history BOOK. Oh, yeah, Kindle/Nook....

Being inconvenienced isn't something Americans are used to; and now we are. Boo hoo. Engineered? You'll know if no one from the Industrial/Entertainment/Sports/Military complex dies. You notice there are no scientists, first responders, medical personnel or someone of substance in that listing. As to deities? Leave me out; the Abrahamic threesome is/are not the impressive right now. I mean who allegedly created everything? Engineers MAY have created novel 19, but the elements in chemistry came from a deity. Ergo... I wonder what the Amish think of us? Be helpful, not hurtful, don't hoard, stop creating demand, don't create more hysteria or anxiety, Okay? And DO NOT clog up the Urgent Care with a hangnail or belch.
