To The Daily Sun,

Tres amusant. Commissioner Taylor advocates for transparency in the Sheriff's Department but forgets his role in facilitating what he refers to as the "shroud". We must remember that partially educated people use a bromide as a crutch.

Commissioner Taylor and Commissioner DeVoy voted to increase the pay for deputy sheriff to more than the pay for sheriff, presumably because they knew that the then sheriff was a "no show" and was seldom found at County Drive. That was stellar transparency hard at work.

Let us suppose that someone opposed to the 2020 candidacy of Sergeant Wright tried to dirty him up a trifle with false or exaggerated information. Let us suppose that someone higher up viewed this with disfavor. What knowledge would be gained by Commissioner Taylor's sudden interest in transparency?

We have Bob Menendez' (Dem. Senator, N.J.) servant, CommissionerTaylor, with us for a while yet. We will survive the experience.
