Democrat's dream world already exists — in California

The ONE AND ONLY message coming from Democrats is, "If we just DROWN ourselves in socialism, it will fix everything." Witnessing the socialist failures of Russia, Cuba, Greece, Venezuela and others is not informative enough for them. Nor has watching socialist, soaked Europe's straight-line decline in economic power since the global economy took hold. Nor has polling revealing America's views toward socialism. In the latest NBC/ WSJ survey last week, the word "socialism" produces an 18% positive response while the word "capitalism" produces a 50 percent positive response from the voting public.

The important news. We have an "exiting laboratory" where we can look to understand clearly where the virulent strain of socialism Democrats now demand ends. That laboratory is CALIFORNIA. Democrats control about 80 percent of all legislative seats there. California is full-bore, true-blue socialism at its politically-correct, best — totally earth-hugging with tax spigots on everything that moves or breathes. Handcuffed with dictates, rules, and regulations as thick as any place in America. You literally can't go for a pee in California with out getting a permit. Ten permits for a poop and the Democratic governors wax seal stamp before the bathroom door unlatches. Opening any new business takes SIX to 12 months of getting thorough California's PUBLIC, SOCIALIST, THUMB-SCREWS-DOWN, BUREAUCRACY. Housing permits? Those most often take a FULL YEAR, sometimes more.

If California had N.H.'s weather combined with its high cost, high tax, high regulation type of socialism few if any people would live there. California has been suffering net migration, running from socialism for years. The vast majority escape to TAX FREE Texas and Nevada.

1. California represents 2 percent of the total of states while being home to 33 PERCENT of all the people in America on WELFARE.

2. California has the largest contingent of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS in America.

3. California has the largest homeless population in America.

4. California has most ANTI-CAPITALIST, onerous, costly rules and regulations on both businesses and individuals of any state in America.

5. California has a yawning, sprawling, WEALTH and INCOME gap between the RICH and POOR, larger than exists in any other of the 50 states.

6. California has the most EXPENSIVE gasoline in America.

7. California has about the most expensive per kilowatt hour of ELECTRICITY in all America.

8. California has home prices that average $570,000. SO HIGH FEWER PEOPLE can qualify for a mortgage there than any other state in America.
