To The Daily Sun,
I love this country. That’s not a political statement — it’s a human one. I’ve pledged my allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and I meant it. Not out of habit, not because I was told to — but because I believe in this country’s core: one people, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
But lately, I’ve watched with growing frustration — and yes, heartbreak — as that unity is being quietly dismantled. Not by neighbors, not by fellow Americans, but by a foreign-fed cultural war that’s taken hold of our media, our schools, and our national conversation. It’s not just misinformation — it’s manipulation. A slow, seditious drip that tells us America is broken, shameful, and beyond repair.
Let me be clear: I love our diversity. I honor the stories, backgrounds, and cultures that make this nation vibrant. But diversity without unity becomes division. And we’re watching that happen in real time.
We don’t need more slogans. We need a refresher course on what binds us — the Constitution, the flag, our shared history, and the hard-earned rights that generations of Americans, from every walk of life, have fought and died to protect.
If readers live here, work here, raise a family here — then it’s time to check their patriotism. Not in a performative way, but in a principled one. We need more Americans willing to say: "This country’s not perfect, but it’s worth fighting for — together."
United we stand, divided we’re sold off to the highest bidder.
