Celine Champagne: Cartoon controversy, letter lunacy and the ranked choice voting voracity

I would shake my head at the writers complaining about Mike Luckovich, award-winning editorial cartoonist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and two-time recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning, in the past. His drawings are based on facts. I had issues with the Gary Varvel cartoons but I let it be, knowing that The Sun was only working on balance. The July 21 cartoon from Varvel had me scratching my head though. What the heck is Biden attempting to eat a baby based on? That was the most inane ever. And if The Sun is going to bring back Varvel cartoons, it should also bring Mike Luckovich back. I also want to add a big thank you to Dennis Miller for beating me in responding to Bruce Jenket's woefully biased, ill-informed letter. And, being formerly from Maine, because of Trump mini-me Paul LePage winning twice for governor due to a third party running, the citizens voted for rank choice voting to prevent that from happening again. It worked. LePage tried for a third time and lost. I’m with you; time to do ranked choice voting. I would also like to see the Electoral College done away with. I wholeheartedly believe in one person, one vote.
