I wish to thank Robert Jones for his kind words about the mission of the Laconia Human Relations Committee.
It is good to be appreciated for the work that the committee does.
He will be pleased to know there are no new plans for the resettlement of refugees in Laconia.
About 250 refugees were resettled here quite successfully between 2000 and 2012.
The success was due to the warm welcome that so many in the community gave to them.
