Bruce Jenket: Trump assassination attempt fueled by mainstream media

Well, the ratcheting up of hate against former president Donald Trump reached its climax on Friday, July 13, 2024. An assassination attempt was made to end his campaign. When will the hate end? It has been fueled by MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. since Trump defeated their preferred candidate, Hillary Clinton, in 2016.

Successes like defeating ISIS in Syria and Iraq, closing the southern border, the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act, sanctions on Iran, opportunity zones in Black neighborhoods, the Abraham accords, etc., were slandered or mostly unreported by the above media. They called Trump Hitler, Putin lover, a racist, misogynist, narcissist, dictator, etc.

While Democrats were in power in the House of Representatives, they impeached Trump not once but twice. Their surrogates in the FBI and Democratic cities filed 91 indictments to sink his 2020 reelection campaign. The above media had him convicted on all charges before the trials began.

This is not the America I remember growing up. The media had integrity and tried to be fair and balanced. They retracted stories they got wrong and apologized to their viewers. Those days are gone. Rachel Maddow, Mika & Joe, Jake Tapper, etc., have covered up President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline for years while claiming President Trump is unfit for office. They lied about the Russia collusion hoax, Hunter’s laptop being Russian disinformation, etc. Yet Biden supporters continue to trust them.

Media propaganda put Adolph Hitler in power in the 1930s. Today it’s vilifying Trump to keep him out of power. Seek the truth and end the hate mongering by the mainstream media.
