Bruce Jenket: President Trump’s lawsuits against the fake news media

I have railed on fake news media, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS NBC, etc., for years. One of my letters suggested that suing those networks for lying to the American public was the solution. President Donald Trump has successfully done that on multiple occasions and has the BBC in his crosshairs now. For those that don’t know because they only listen to the above networks, here is a list of settled lawsuits where they deplatformed him following the Jan. 6 riot:

• Meta paid Trump $25M: tinyurl.com/45m9sjbz

• X, formally twitter, paid Trump $10M: tinyurl.com/2ne9mme8

All the above violated President Trump’s right to free speech. They also violated his assumption of innocence, which went unmentioned. Trump was never convicted of inciting the Jan. 6 riot despite impeachment hearings by Democrats and an investigation by the Joe Biden FBI.

• ABC News/George Stephanopoulos paid Trump $16M for falsely claiming he raped Jean Carroll. Trump was acquitted of rape due to lack of evidence but was convicted of sexual assault despite the same lack of evidence. (tinyurl.com/2mmtwpb7)
• CBS News paid Trump $16M to settle a lawsuit for their deceptive editing of a 60 Minutes interview with VP Kamala Harris. (tinyurl.com/36bsw3kv)
• Now Trump is threatening to sue BBC for deceptive editing of his Jan. 6 speech. That on top of the BBC reporting $1.44B in lost revenues as millions refuse to pay licensing fees amid bias storm. (tinyurl.com/44d9ftxt)

People in England are waking up to the fact that the BBC is no longer reporting news but rather spreading propaganda. Hopefully the same will happen here with CNN and MSNBC. Their current promoting of attacks on ICE agents is just another propaganda ploy to divide our nation. People need to wake up.
