To The Daily Sun,
As a voter who values transparency and honesty in politics, I'm concerned that Jon Hildreth continuously refers to running in a "non-partisan" election, yet he refuses to acknowledge that he is a Democrat who ran for state representative. If he has nothing to hide, then why not be open about his beliefs? Why the hesitation to identify himself with being a Democrat, or more to the point, holding socialist ideals?
In sharp contrast, Mike MacFadzen has made it clear where he stands. He's a Republican and proud of it. He's not hiding behind vague labels or trying to obscure his values. That is the kind of clarity that matters for voters like me: I want to know what a candidate stands for, not just what they're against.
That’s why I’m voting for Mike MacFadzen for city councilor and Mike Bordes for mayor. Both men are upfront about their party affiliations and their principles. They’re not afraid to stand tall and speak plainly. Their honesty is refreshing, in a world where political double-speak is all too common.
Let's elect leaders who are not afraid to tell voters who they are.
