Sanbornton's Old Home Day has been scheduled for July 23

We co-chairs, Dave Witham and Lynn Chong, announce that Sanbornton's Old Home Day will be taking place Saturday, July 23, all day in our Town Square.

We will have pancake breakfast at Lane Tavern (8:30 start), vendors, demonstrators of crafts and skills, lunch sold by groups, storytelling, wildlife encounter, fire station involvement, car show, cow pat bingo, and many things too numerous to name here.

Are there vendors to contact us? Are there parade groups for our late-day parade? We'd love to see family groups who've put together something catchy.

Brad Crosby is going to run a cribbage tournament, and would like players to call ahead and sign in with him so he can make a schedule. Those games will be in Lane Tavern, our Sanbornton Historical Society building. Call Brad at 286-8605.

Call Lynn Chong at 934-6486 or Dave Witham at 286-9590 to get into the mix of things going on, skills to share, or to help that day. We'll again have free cake slices with Rock Salt Creamery ice cream, and that table can use help. Cakes need baking. By June 15 we need to have our T-shirt sponsor names all in.
