To the editor,
In just a few weeks, the citizens of N.H. will be asked to elect the people who will represent us in the Legislature and State Senate for the next two years. We don't think there is anyone who can overstate the importance of November's election in terms of setting the course for our state. There are few people in N.H. who haven't been touched by unemployment, higher taxes or increased fees. We need to send people to Concord who are focused on fiscal responsibility. Jim Forsythe, the Republican candidate for State Senate District #4 is that kind of person.
There are always many issues in a campaign, but the financial health of our state and its citizens needs to be our primary focus. Jim Forsythe is a proven leader who has taken the pledge to vote against any sales or income tax. He has stood up to fight against attacks on small business owners. While others watched from the sidelines, Jim has put himself and his convictions on the line. In this age of the "me too" candidates, people who are more than willing to go along with someone else's ideas, Jim stands tall as an individual who is committed to conservative values. Government always advocates the need for more spending as the answer to any problem. It is time for a change in thinking about the role of government in our lives. It is time for new ideas from a hard working and focused individual. It is time for a proven leader. Please join us in voting for Jim Forsythe for State Senate in District #4 on November 2nd.
