If you haven't returned your Christmas Fund application, do so now

Time very often gets away from us, stealing important dates and events without our even noticing. Whenever that happens, disappointment and unhappiness often result.

The Inter-Lakes Christmas Fund Committee is presently very pleased about the number of application forms that have already been sent in to specified sites. That fact conveys a very vital message: families who are in need of assistance are beginning to realize the urgency of their requests. They are also becoming more aware of the time and the effort needed to grant their requests in a timely manner. PLEASE – if you have not yet returned your application form, do so immediately. Follow the excellent example of those who have responded.

The committee is very grateful to those individuals and groups who are making financial donations to the Fund – surely an indication that Christmas 2010 looks very promising. Many newcomers are joining the committee, too, and are enthusiastically assisting with tasks and responsibilities – another welcome sign that the Inter-Lakes Christmas Fund continues to be the proud recipient of much needed support.

Just a reminder: distribution this year will be Wednesday, December 15. Snow date will be the following day.
