Denver, Colorado - June 05, 2026 - PRESSADVANTAGE -
Kick It 3v3 Soccer is launching its 2026 Summer Tour in Colorado with an expanded statewide event series that will culminate in the organization’s National Championships & World Finals in Vail. The summer tour highlights Kick It 3v3 Soccer’s continued growth in one of its strongest regional markets while introducing new alignment with U.S. Soccer’s updated age group structure, strengthening partnerships with local soccer organizations, and continuing long-standing collaboration with the Town of Vail.
The Colorado Summer Tour includes events across multiple markets throughout June and July 2026, creating additional opportunities for players and families across the state to participate in small-sided soccer competition. The tour will begin in Superior on Saturday, June 7, 2026, followed by an event in Colorado Springs on Saturday, June 14, 2026. Additional tournaments will take place in Arvada, serving the Denver metro area, on Saturday, June 21, 2026, and in Littleton on Thursday, June 26, 2026. The schedule continues with Highlands Ranch on Sunday, July 12, 2026, Pueblo on Saturday, July 18, 2026, and Cañon City on Sunday, July 19, 2026, before concluding with the Kick It 3v3 National Championships & World Finals in Vail from July 24 through July 26, 2026.

“This is where our summer tour begins, and Colorado continues to be one of our most important regions,” said Dan Stratford, CEO and Owner of Kick It 3v3 Soccer. “With multiple events across the state and our World Finals in Vail, we’re creating a complete pathway, from local play to a national and international stage.”
A key update for the 2026 season is Kick It 3v3 Soccer’s alignment with U.S. Soccer’s updated birth-year registration structure, which more closely reflects school-year groupings. The adjustment is intended to simplify team formation and help players continue competing with classmates and peers, creating a more consistent and familiar experience for participants and families.
“We’ve adapted our divisions to better match how players are grouped today,” Stratford said. “This makes it easier for teams to form and ensures a better overall experience for players, coaches, and families.”
The Colorado Springs event is supported through a growing partnership with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, helping create opportunities for increased community engagement and stronger connections between grassroots soccer and the professional game. The partnership is designed to support local player development while encouraging greater involvement in soccer communities across the region.
“Our partnership with the Switchbacks is a great example of how we’re working with professional clubs to grow the game locally,” Stratford added. “It creates added value for players and families and strengthens the overall soccer ecosystem.”
Each event throughout the Colorado Summer Tour also serves as a qualifier for the Kick It 3v3 National Championships & World Finals in Vail, Colorado, scheduled for July 24 through July 26, 2026. Hosted in partnership with the Town of Vail, the championship event will mark its 26th year and brings together teams from across the United States and internationally. The event has become a long-running destination tournament for small-sided soccer and serves as the culminating event of the Kick It 3v3 season.
“Vail is the centerpiece of our entire summer,” Stratford said. “Our partnership with the Town of Vail allows us to deliver a world-class experience for players and families, and it’s where everything comes together.”
Across all Colorado events, participants can expect a 3v3 tournament format with a guaranteed four games per team, along with additional competitions such as 1v1 challenges and 2v2 soccer tennis. Events are open to youth players from U6 through U19 as well as adult men’s, women’s, and co-ed divisions, allowing participation across a wide range of ages and skill levels. Participants will also compete for medals and sportsmanship awards while taking part in a fast-paced format designed to encourage increased touches on the ball, quicker decision-making, and greater player involvement throughout matches.
Kick It 3v3 Soccer describes the events as full-day soccer festivals designed to combine competition, accessibility, and community engagement. By offering multiple events across the state, the organization is seeking to create repeat opportunities for participation while making tournaments more accessible to players who may not be able to travel long distances for a single event.
“This isn’t just one event. It’s a statewide tour,” Stratford added. “We’re creating multiple entry points for players across Colorado and connecting them all to something bigger with our World Finals in Vail.”
The Colorado Summer Tour reflects Kick It 3v3 Soccer’s broader strategy of building regional clusters of tournaments that strengthen local participation while creating pathways to larger national events. Registration for all Colorado tournaments is currently open through the Kick It 3v3 Soccer website, with additional event information available online.
