SALEM — The "suspicious death" of a teenage male found early Friday morning outside an Orchard Terrace home is under investigation.

The teen, whose exact age was not specified, is from out of state, Attorney General John M. Formella said.

"The exact circumstances surrounding this incident are now under active investigation, and there is no known threat to the public at this time as all known parties have been identified," Formella said in a prepared statement. "The name of the deceased will be released following notification of next of kin, and an autopsy has been scheduled by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for later today."

More information will be released as it becomes available, he said.

The Attorney General’s Office, members of the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit and the Salem Police Department responded the suspicious death report.
