Police arrest Wolfeboro burglary suspect

 

WOLFEBORO — Wolfeboro police have arrested a Parsonfield, Maine, man in connection with a burglary at the Wolfeboro Speedy Wash N' Go on Jan. 22.

Police Chief Dean Rondeau said Corey Merritt, 38, was arrested shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday by Detective Guy Maloney in Ossipee on a warrant charging him with burglary at the Center Street business.

Rondeau said the arrest was a result of an investigation conducted by both Sgt. Christopher Keaton and Detective Maloney, and assisted by the Gilford Police Department and the York County, Maine, Sheriff's office.

He said that additional arrests are forthcoming in the case.

Merritt was released on bail and faces arraignment in the Third Circuit Court in Ossipee.
