Veterans Square is packed with onlookers Saturday night who came to the city to participate in Laconia Pumpkin Festival, the first rendition under the city's organizing of the Granite State tradition. A laser show illuminated the sky as visitors of all ages gathered in front of the train station downtown. The lasers, shooting through a massive pumpkin tower, refracted against fog, creating an intense and interesting atmosphere. Music, coordinated with the laser show, blared down the streets to mark the end of the day's festivities. (Gabriel Perry/The Laconia Daily Sun photos)
