CONCORD — State law enforcement officers are on the lookout for a fugitive with violent tendencies wanted for a probation violation and known to roam the New Hampshire Seacoast region.

Jason Shedenhelm, 46, is wanted for a probation violation stemming from a conviction for methamphetamine possession. He hasn’t reported for probation since May 2023, and a warrant was issued in August 2023.

Shedenhelm is described as white, 5'11", 150 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, and a tattoo on his right ankle.

He’s been previously convicted for arranging to meet with a minor, assault, resisting arrest, reckless conduct and domestic violence, criminal threatening, stalking, driving under the influence, drug possession and bail jumping.

Shedenhelm was last known to reside in Rochester, but could be located anywhere around the Seacoast.

Do not attempt to apprehend him yourself, officials say. Report any information to the New Hampshire Department of Corrections at 603-271-1804, the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office at 603-742-4960, your nearest police department, or by dialing 911.
