GILFORD — A young driver was sent to the hospital as a precaution, after rolling their vehicle on the Route 3/11 bypass Thursday evening.

Police responded to the area of Morrill Street at 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 5. Officers found a 2014 Nissan Murano driven by a teenager went off the road, and “rolled multiple times.”

Capt. Adam VanSteensburg said the driver was by themselves, and due to the severity of damage to the car, is “very lucky.” No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Witnesses who provided statements suggested the juvenile may have been experiencing a health crisis.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
