LACONIA — DuBois & King, Inc., consulting engineers announced the acquisition of Fluet Engineering Associates and the opening of a new office here.

Established in 1990, Fluet Engineering Associates provides civil and environmental engineering services throughout the Lakes Region. Founder Paul R. Fluet, P.E., has joined DuBois & King and will continue to serve as president of Fluet Engineering Associates, now a division of DuBois & King.

Fluet has been providing engineering services in the Lakes Region since 1974.

Fluet Engineering provides services related to site development, wastewater collection and water system design, sewage pumping station design, and provides assistance to municipalities relative to sewer and water systems.

DuBois & King, a 75 person multidiscipline firm with offices in Bedford, New Hampshire, Randolph, Williston, and Springfield, Vermont, provides services in the areas of transportation engineering, environmental services, facilities engineering, site development, and natural resources.

“Over the last 21 years, Paul has built a solid and respected engineering practice in the Lakes Region,” said DuBois & King President Jeffrey Tucker. “DuBois & King’s breadth of service offerings and depth of professional staff will augment Paul’s capabilities to serve his clients and provide Fluet Engineering Associates with additional capacity and technical resources.”

Fluet Engineering Associates’ new office is located at 831 Union Avenue.
