LACONIA — The Laconia Pumpkin Festival is looking for a new logo.
The city, now the host of the event, is holding a contest through the end of February for the design of the new logo for the festival, which brought thousands downtown in 2025.
The contest is open to anyone, and submissions are restricted to original work only, no images generated by artificial intelligence tools or programs. Participants cannot submit work that infringes on any third-party rights.
Submissions must prominently feature one or more pumpkins, and must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. The deadline for submissions is 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, and submissions should be sent via email to Director of Recreation & Facilities Amy Lovisek at alovisek@laconianh.gov.
Submissions must include the phrase “Laconia Pumpkin Festival” in large, bold print and, optionally, can include the phrase “NH Pumpkin Festival.”
For complete information regarding contest submissions, visit laconiapumpkinfestival.com.
If an individual submitting a logo to the contest is a minor, an adult must agree to the terms of the contest release and their written authorization must be included with their submission.
Late or incomplete submissions may be disqualified. By submitting a logo, participants agree to the terms in the release, and grant the city the rights described therein.
Submissions will be judged by festival organizers and by the public. The winner of the contest will be notified and awarded a prize. The main prize for the winning submission will be bragging rights, but the winner will also receive a prize bag including a sweatshirt with the logo they designed.
