Seniors enjoyed a lunch of chicken salad, croissants, butternut squash bisque and pizza at a Halloween party at the Laconia Senior Center on Thursday afternoon. Almost 30 people came to celebrate the holiday, some in costume. Cindy Cooper, 70, who dressed up as a Victorian-era woman, came with her husband Cedric Flower, 87, dressed as a clown. Cooper said wearing costumes for Halloween is not just for children. “We’re all children at heart,” Cooper said. “We definitely all like to dress up.”
