HAVERHILL — Dierdre Lutz, 24, of Mechanic Street, Ashland, faces Class B felony charges of forgery and falsifying physical evidence.
A Grafton County Superior Court Grand Jury handed up the indictments during its March session.
She is alleged to have printed counterfeit $20 bills, and then deleted the contents of her cell phone to prevent police from searching its content.
An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but an independent jury’s decision, after hearing from police, that sufficient evidence exists to warrant a court trial.
