NORTH HAVERHILL — A Connecticut man has been indicted for an alleged sex assault that occurred at Plymouth State University.

Julian Robles, 19, of Southington, Connecticut, was indicted on a charge of aggravated felonious sexual assault, and another charge of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault.

Robles was among eastern Grafton County or Lakes Region residents alleged to have committed crimes there who were indicted by the latest session of the Grafton County grand jury.

According to the indictments, Robles molested a 20-year-old woman while she was asleep and then digitally penetrated her, at which point she woke up. The alleged assault occurred in September 2018 at Plymouth State University.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt. Rather it is a finding that there is sufficient evidence of a possible crime to warrant bringing a case to trial.

Others indicted were:

Thomas C. Brown, 19, of Woodsville, was indicted on charges of robbery, theft by unauthorized taking, criminal threatening, falsifying physical evidence, providing false information to obtain a handgun, and criminal mischief. The alleged crimes occurred in Thornton.

Robert G. Estes, 53, of Tenney Mountain Highway, in Plymouth, was indicted on a charge of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.

The indictment alleges Estes received an image from a third party showing a woman naked and engaging in a sex act, and then sent the image to the woman in an attempt to get her to send more nude images to him.

Scott A. Ford, 50, of Park Street, in Northfield, was indicted on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking.

The indictment alleges Ford took several pieces of electronic merchandise from the Walmart in West Lebanon.

James D. Kerr, 30, of Lake Street, in Bristol, was indicted on two counts of simple assault on a police officer, one charge of domestic violence simple assault, and charges of resisting arrest and stalking.

Andrew W. Pierson, 32, of Alleyton, Texas, was indicted on a charge of second-degree assault on a 1-year-old boy, and a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
