LACONIA — Police handled 71 service calls from 8 a.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Tuesday.
One person was arrested.
Joshua Stevens, 41, no fixed address, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence simple assault, physical contact.Â
Officers conducted 14 motor vehicle stops, which resulted in 14 drivers being issued written warnings. Traffic accidents on Union Avenue and at Court and Main streets were investigated.
Police responded to two calls to assist another agency or department.Â
Five calls dealt with juvenile matters.
Police were called to investigate reports of criminal trespass on Gilford Avenue.
Officers investigated one restraining order violation.
Police investigated three animal complaints.
A report of a suspicious person was investigated.
Three reports of theft were investigated.
Officers responded to four disturbance calls, including two classified as domestic disturbances.
