GILFORD — Police handled 214 service calls between May 21 and Wednesday, May 26.

Five people were arrested.

Trevor M. Rice, 19, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, was arrested for possession of marijuana or hashish, and possession of alcoholic beverage by a minor.

William E. Sears Jr., 84, of Coach Road, in Gilford, was arrested on a charge of criminal threatening.

Audrey M. McLeod, 49, of Currier Road, in Andover, was arrested on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Two 16-year-old juveniles were also arrested. One was charged with unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage. The second was charged with transporting alcoholic beverages, and with possession of marijuana or hashish.

Officers made 90 motor vehicle stops, and investigated three traffic accidents on Lakeshore Road (Route 11), as well as accidents on the Laconia Bypass, Endicott Street East, and on Kimball Road.

Two calls dealt with juvenile matters.

Police investigated reports of assaults on Alvah Wilson Road, and on Lake Street.

Reports of theft of personal property on Baker Road, and on Balsam Drive were investigated.

Officers responded to one mental health emergency.

Police investigated reports of harassment on Liscomb Circle, and on Alvah Wilson Road.

A possible drug violation at Cherry Valley Road (Route 11A) and Yasmin Drive was investigated.

Police investigated a report of criminal mischief on Casey Road.

Officers responded to six domestic disturbance calls.
