BELMONT — Belmont police handled 128 calls for service from Jan. 4 through early Friday morning, Jan 11.
Twelve people were arrested.
Rachel Newton, 26, of Depot Street, in Belmont, was arrested on a warrant for violating probation issued by Belknap Superior Court.
Constance J. Lowell, 46, North Road, in Danbury, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation issued by Belknap Superior Court.
Eric Colp, 33, of Oak Street, in Laconia, was arrested for probationary license violations.
Tobiah J. Scott, 32, of Main Street, in Belmont, was arrested for operating without a valid license.
Brenda L. Day, 53, of Main Street, in Belmont, was arrested for allowing an improper person to drive a motor vehicle.
Beverly J. Avery, 36, of Hatch Corner Road, in New Hampton, was arrested for driving without a valid license.
Christopher L. Hawkins, 34, of Seavey Road, in Belmont, was arrested for driving without a valid license.
Mariah Vetrone, 27, of Deer Run, Meredith, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Belknap County Sheriff’s Department.
Hondo M. Swain, 44, of Duso Road, in Belmont, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence simple assault.
Paul S. Noyes, 24, no fixed address, was arrested for receiving stolen property — an automobile, reckless operation and driving without a valid license.
Zachary A. Brown, 34, of Merrimac Street, in Laconia, was arrested for burglary, criminal trespass, resisting arrest, criminal mischief (vandalism), and was also arrested on a warrant.
Brienna A. McCarthy, 22, no fixed address, was arrested for obstructing government administration, resisting arrest, criminal mischief (vandalism), and simple assault.
Three people were taken into protective custody — two for intoxication, and one for an involuntary emergency admission.
Officers conducted five motor vehicle stops, and investigated two traffic accidents at Laconia and Gilmanton roads (Routes 106 and 140). Other accidents occurred on Brown Hill Road, Belmont High School, Dutile Road, Daniel Webster Highway (Route 3), and Depot Street.
Officers investigated reports of thefts on Welcome Road, Dollar General, Durrell Mountain Road, and Hurricane Road.
A burglary on Province Road (Route 107), was investigated.
An incident of criminal trespass was reported at Shaw’s supermarket.
The department received two reports of identity theft.
Incidents of harassment were reported on South Road, Turkey Drive, Dock Road, Union Road, Maple Hill Drive, and Badger Glen Drive.
