For Seasons 10 to 14, Garcelle Beauvais was a regular cast member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, after the Season 14 finale, she confirmed that she would not be returning to the show.

“So I have some news,” Beauvais wrote on her Instagram Story. “I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills. It’s been a wild ride — I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have also happened. But it’s been a ride nevertheless.”

She went on to expand on her reasons for leaving, and has since opened up more about why she took a step back from filming the reality series. Scroll down for everything we know.

Why did Garcelle Beauvais leave RHOBH?

Beauvais said she was leaving the show primarily to focus on her sons (she shares 34-year-old Oliver with first husband Daniel Saunders, and twins Jaid and Jax with ex-husband Mike Nilon). The twins started their senior year of high school in fall 2025, and Beauvais said she wanted to make sure she was “part of that” for them.

“Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too,” she added, referring to her teenager’s venture into modeling. Additionally, Beauvais said she had “exciting projects” in the works that she also wanted to focus on. In addition to being an actress, Beauvais has her own production company and has been executive producing films for Lifetime over the last two years.

She expanded on her decision to leave in an October interview with Variety, noting that Housewives was a “great opportunity,” but also “heavy” on her spirit. “Walking away has given me my power back,” Beauvais said. “It’s given me a sense of freedom, and I’m in a good headspace. I want to create. I want to spend time with my family and friends. We live in a crazy world right now, and anywhere you can find joy and hold on to it for a bit is where we should all go. I am enjoying joy, peace and my life at this point.”

What happened to Garcelle Beauvais at the RHOBH Season 14 reunion?

The Season 14 reunion was quite contentious for Beauvais, who stormed off the set and called her castmates “f**king a**holes” after a drama-filled season. She also refused to take a cast photo at the event.

“There was a moment where I felt like I no longer belonged here,” she admitted in the Variety interview. “I no longer fit in here. It was definitely a moment of like, ‘This is not for me.’ It just didn’t feel right.”

At the reunion, Beauvais explained her frustrations with her castmates, including her former closest friend Sutton Stracke, whom she hasn’t spoken to since filming ended. “No one said, ‘Oh, I understand what you’re saying.’ No one said anything,” she explained. Even Stracke did not back Beauvais up when the criticism rolled in at the taping.

The major reunion drama stemmed from Beauvais saying she thought Dorit Kemsley‘s home invasion may have been a setup. She was also accused of hiding aspects of her life from the cameras, which she denied. “I’m always honest, but nobody said, ‘Oh, you have accountability.’ Everybody jumped on me,” she shared. “And I felt I was on an island by myself. I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them and they obviously don’t trust me.”

Will Garcelle Beauvais return to RHOBH?

As of the October Variety interview, Beauvais said she won’t be returning to the show “anytime soon,” although she did note that she would consider coming back in a smaller capacity.

She also teased a future appearance in her March exit announcement. “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open,” she said. “So you never know, I might pop back in sometime.”

What is Garcelle Beauvais doing now?

Beauvais is continuing to work with her production company, where has a partnership with Lifetime. Her focus is on telling stories of Black women’s experiences. She is also the face of Lifetime’s Stop Breast Cancer For Life Campaign.
