The Neighborhood is headed into its final stretch on CBS. The sitcom set its series finale date on March 30.
Fans will say goodbye to the Butler and Johnson families on Monday, May 11, at 8/7c. The 30-minute series finale will be followed by the series finale of DMV.
The logline for the finale has not yet been released, but with two proposals locked in, a wedding (or two) is to be expected.
The Neighborhood is also set to air a farewell special on April 6 on CBS after a new episode.

Debuting back in 2018, The Neighborhood has made quite an impact over its years onscreen, which is being acknowledged in a statement from CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach. “The brilliant cast and creative team at The Neighborhood, led by the incomparable Cedric the Entertainer, have brought levity, laughter, and poignant storylines to Monday nights for seven incredible seasons.
The Neighborhood is a strong ratings performer for CBS and one of the top comedies on TV. We believe the show’s loyal fans deserve a proper farewell season full of the trademark humor and heartfelt moments that are synonymous with the series.”
Who stars in The Neighborhood Season 8?
The Neighborhood‘s ensemble includes Cedric the Entertainer (Calvin Butler), Max Greenfield (Dave Johnson), Sheaun McKinney (Malcolm Butler), Amber Stevens West (Mercedes), Beth Behrs (Gemma Johnson), Tichina Arnold (Tina Butler), Hank Greenspan (Grover Johnson), and Skye Townsend as Courtney.
Season 8 is executive-produced by Bill Martin, Mike Schiff, Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling, Cedric the Entertainer, and Eric Rhone. Meanwhile, the series is produced by CBS Studios.
When will The Neighborhood air its series finale?

Is The Neighborhood returning for Season 9?
Sadly, no. The Neighborhood will end after Season 8.
Is there a spinoff?
Crutch, featuring Tracy Morgan as Calvin’s cousin, aired on Paramount+ in 2025. A planned spinoff based on Malcolm and Marty has since been canceled.
