The Winnipesaukee Triathlon Club is a free group whose members are training for any distance of triathlon, meets to run on Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. at the Gunstock Inn lower parking lot, and swim training with coach Al Rozzi follows at 7:15 p.m. Non-members of the pool are charged $10 for use of the pool, but all other trainings are free. Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia holds a Tuesday Night Meditation Group, 6-7:15 p.m. at 172 Pleasant Street in Laconia. This group is designed to create a community where individuals can develop their own meditation practice in a friendly, non-judgmental community. No experience necessary. Sessions consist of a combination of sitting and walking meditations and weekly discussions (no preparation required). New comers are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early for a quick introduction.
