CAMPTON — Timothy “Tim” E. Carrier, 61, passed away Oct. 12, 2025, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, after fighting the good fight with cancer. He was born on April 23, 1964, in Brattleboro, Vermont, the son of Edward H. and Ramona R. (Powers) Carrier.

Tim graduated from Plymouth Area High School in 1982. He worked for many years doing firewood and mowing lawns. Most recently, Tim was a custodian at Campton Elementary School — a job he loved.

Tim enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, NASCAR racing, and his beloved dog, Max. His favorite drink, of course, was a good cup of coffee with a slice of pizza. He loved to talk to people and get to know them. He was a gentle, caring person who was liked by everyone he met.

Tim is survived by his brother, Larry Carrier and his wife, Dottie of Gilmanton; sister, Wendy Johnston of Thornton; nieces, Jessica Carrier of New Hampton, Lisa Davis of Laconia, Samantha Carrier of Concord, and Heather Johnston of Topsham, Maine. He will also be missed by his extended family and many close friends.

Tim is predeceased by his parents, Edward Carrier in 2002, and Ramona Carrier in 2019, and nieces, Amanda Johnston in 2013, and Lauren Carrier in 2016.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at Mayhew Funeral Home, in Plymouth.

Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. at Smith Meeting House Cemetery in Gilmanton, with Rev. David Randlett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tim’s memory can be made to Dartmouth Cancer Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756.

Arrangements are under the care of Mayhew Funeral Homes and Crematorium. To sign the online book of memories, go to mayhewfuneralhomes.com.
