LACONIA — Tess Shelby Gray, 4, of 8 Hill Street, Lakeport died at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Friday, December 22, 2006 from acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Tess was born January 10, 2002 in Laconia, the daughter of Todd and Nicole (McKenzie) Gray.

Tess was a smart little girl, who loved her family, enjoying going to the circus and fairs. She enjoyed helping her dad working on cars, going fishing with the family, four-wheeling with her sister and cooking.

Survivors include her parents Todd A. and Nicole Gray of Lakeport; one sister Kayleen Gray-Cilley of Franklin; paternal grandparents Penney and Keith O’Day of Lakeport, Dot Gray of Northfield, and Mont and Eugina Clark of Belmont; maternal grandparents, Rachel O’Connor of Lewiston, Maine, and Richard McKenzie of Monmouth, Maine; maternal great-grandmothers, Evelyn McKenzie of Monmouth, Maine, and Madeline Allen of Lewiston, Maine; many aunts and uncles including Kim, Bobby, Richie, Cassy, Stacey, Tammy, Laronda, Mark, Laura, Robin, Kevin, Danny, Edwin, Clayton Jr., Debra, Donna, Diane, Darlene and Don; many cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Clayton Gray in 2000.

Calling hours will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia on Tuesday, Dec. 26, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. using the Whipple Avenue entrance.

Funeral services will be held at The United Baptist Church, 35 Park Street, Lakeport, on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m. Rev Sharron Lamothe pastor of the church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Bayside Cemetery, Union Avenue, Laconia.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the “Tess Fund” c/o Laconia Savings Bank, 62 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
