MANCHESTER — A committal service with military honors for Stephen Rodney Cass also known as Demitiri Jesus Fasi, 54, of Tarrytown Road will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008, 3:00 p.m. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Rte 3, Boscawen. A mass will be celebrated in his memory on Thursday, July 31, 2008, 8:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia.

Stephen/Demitri was born in Laconia on November 30, 1953, the son of Rodney F. Cass and Shirley L. (Gay) Cass. He was raised and schooled in Laconia, graduating from Laconia High School in 1972. He had been a resident of Concord for many years before moving to Manchester.

Stephen/Demitri is survived by his mother, Shirley L.(Gay) Cass of Laconia; his father Rodney F. Cass and his wife Pat of Plymouth; his siblings, Dennis Cass and his wife Renee of Gilford, Gay Ferland and her companion Bob Fitzpatrick of Belmont, Brenda Frink and her husband Andrew of Surry, NH, David Cass of Providence, RI, Tammy Thomas and her husband Rick of Spartanburg, SC; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Ferland of Manchester, Season Ferland of Belmont, Michelle Ferree of Laconia, Taylor and Grady Thomas of Spartanburg, SC, and David and Amanda Cass of Gilford; his aunt, Doris Fecteau of Laconia; his godparents, Raymond and Claire Lakeman of Gilford. Many cousins also survive Demitri.
