LACONIA — Ruby A. (Hanks) Bruno, 58, of 70 Academy Street in Laconia died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia following a long illness. She was born in Franklin, April 16, 1945, daughter of Claude E. and Ruby A. (Bernier) Hanks.
Ruby lived in Franklin and attended schools there. Prior to moving to Laconia several years ago she had been a longtime resident of the Tilton-Northfield areas. She was homemaker and for many years was employed at Webster Valve Company in Franklin.
Her family includes a son, Joseph (Jay) Bruno, of Northfield;
two daughters, Roxane M. Shaw, of Laconia, and Amanda J. Seeley, of Laconia; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Claude "Skip" Hanks Jr., of Northfield, and Charles Hanks, of Northfield; and nieces and nephews
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Franklin Cemetery in Franklin with burial following.
The William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton is assisting family with arrangements.
