LACONIA — Robert "Bob" F. L. Page, age 72, died unexpectedly on Jan. 31, 2025, after a sudden period of illness, with his beloved wife of 51 years, Heather, by his side.
Born and raised in Framingham, Massachusetts, Bob has spent the last 40 years living in the Lakes Region, where he spent much of his time on or around Lake Winnipesaukee. He could also be found at the hardware store or puttering around the house or in the yard.
He loved his tractor and trips to the dump. Over the last few years, he and his wife enjoyed winters in Florida, where he was the unofficial "mayor" of Care Free Park and known by most as "Bob the Builder."
He will be missed by so many and remembered as being quite a character.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Heather Page; son Wesley R. L. Page (Vanessa); daughter Jessica "Ralfie" Fanjoy (Scot); and Gampi to his treasured granddaughters, Olivia, Hazel and Freyja. He also leaves behind his sister, Susan Shimanoski (Jack); his mother, Virginia Anthony; his brother-in-law, Larry Inglis; and his cousin, Scott Colwell. He is predeceased by his father, Franklin Page, brother Jeffrey Page and his uncle Calvin Colwell.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, May 23, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St.
