OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio — Reed R. Hanley, 16, of 9144 Lakeview Drive, died at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H. on Saturday, August 8, 2009.
Reed was born January 19, 1993 in Plymouth, Mass., the son of Douglas R. and Angela L. (Wilder) Hanley.
Reed had completed his sophomore year at Olmsted Falls High School. He was an avid hockey player who played on various teams in North Carolina, Florida, California and Ohio. He was incredibly active, spontaneous and a fun loving son and brother.
Reed is survived by his parents, Douglas R. & Angela L. (Wilder) Hanley, and his sister, Emma Rae Hanley, all of Olmsted Falls, Ohio; his grandparents, Thomas & Linda Hanley of Belmont, N.H., Donna Wilder of Newport Richey, Florida and Kenneth Bechen of Absarokee, Montana and a large extended family.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H. followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM also at the Funeral Home.
Family and friends are invited to gather after the services at Leavitt Park, Elm Street, Lakeport, N.H.
