MEREDITH — Paul Beaudoin, 91, passed away on Jan. 10, 2026, in his home after a period of failing health.

Paul was born on Dec. 21, 1934, in Laconia, the son of the late Lionel Beaudoin and LucieAnna (Morin) Beaudoin.

Paul graduated high school from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Laconia. He went on to enlist in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Alaska. He was a graduate of Keene State College and he received a degree in education.

Paul lived on Waukewan Street in Meredith, with the love of his life, Emiliette Beaudoin. Together they raised seven children, built three houses and a loving life together.

Paul lived life to the fullest. He was a lover of the arts, music, literature, architecture, theater, gardens and all things beautiful. He was an avid gardener and loved animals.

Paul’s pride and joy were his seven children. He thought of each one as a special treasure. His kids were a favorite topic of conversation for him; he would beam with pride when sharing with others.

Paul was a passionate teacher whose infectious energy touched many, many students over the 40+ years he taught at Inter-Lakes High School in Meredith.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Emiliette (Mimi) Drouin Beaudoin; sons Guy Beaudoin of Meredith, Rock Beaudoin and his wife Suzanne of Beverly, Massachusetts, and Alan Beaudoin and his wife Marci of Pheonix, Arizona; daughters Colette Beaudoin of Laconia, Nicole (Beaudoin) O’Hara and her husband Curt of Kingston, Brigitte (Beaudoin) Stafford and her husband Curtis of Laconia, and Amy (Beaudoin) Kumph and her husband Michael of Exeter. He also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Paul is also survived by his brother, Edgar Beaudoin and his wife Ginny of Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s name to Lakes Region Conservation Trust, P.O. Box 766, Center Harbor, NH 03226.

A calling hour will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 300 Route 25.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 16, also at the church.

A reception will be held in the church hall following the mass.

A private burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
