LACONIA — Michael S. Marsh, 38, of 27 Grove Street, died at Lakes Region general Hospital on Friday, December 30, 2005 after a sudden illness. Mr. Marsh was born January 19, 1967 in Laconia, the son of Raymond R. and Jean C. (Piette) Marsh.
He attended Kennett High School in Conway and served in the U.S. Army Reserves for five years. He was employed at Jr. Southern Cars and had formerly worked for various paving companies in the Lakes Region — he enjoyed paving. He formerly worked side by side with his father at Ray Marsh & Son Excavating in Tamworth.
Mr. Marsh enjoyed spending time with his children, riding motorcycles, skiing, golfing, hanging out with friends and watching movies. Mike would want to be remembered with a smile on his face while riding his Harley.
Survivors include his wife, Denise (Kennett) Marsh of Laconia; a daughter, Sara Ann Marsh, of Tamworth; three sons, Michael Raymond Marsh, of Tamworth, and Joseph Sanborn and Travis Sanborn both of Laconia; three
stepchildren, Justin Ryan Kennett, Brittany Catherine Kennett and Felicia Marie Bixby all of Laconia; his father, Ray Marsh, of Tamworth; two brothers, Bob Marsh and Steve Marsh both of Brattleboro, Vermont; and his mother-in-law Jennie Maheux of Belmont. He was predeceased by his mother, Jean Marsh, in 1998.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday January 3, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home
