Marian K. Mann, 90

GILMANTON — Marian K. Mann, 90, of Province Road, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016.

She was born on March 5, 1926, in Methuen, Massachusetts, the daughter of Reginald and Mary (Dutton) Liversidge. She had been a resident of the Lakes Region for more than 50 years.

Marian enjoyed teaching. She taught sewing at the Perkins Institute for the Blind in Boston and for the past 40 years she volunteered as a Bible educator. Marian was also known for her love of gardening.

Marian is survived by a son, Bill Mann and his wife Deborah of Gilmanton; three grandchildren and their spouses, Brendan and Melissa Mann, Carla and Chris Archibald, and Jordan and Chelsea Mann; and by five great-grandchildren, Elise, Nolan, London, Caleb and Alika.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Charles S. Mann; and a brother, William Liversidge, who died in World War II.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will take place Saturday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 10 East Holderness Road, Holderness.
