Lorraine was born on Feb. 6, 1926, in Ridgewood, New York, the daughter of Henry and Theresa (Kadlec) Lehr.
She had a zest for life and a deep appreciation for the arts, often attending plays and musicals with her friends at the Taylor Community.
Lorraine enjoyed playing Scrabble, traveling, watching game shows and spending time with her family and their beloved pets, including dogs, cats and ponies. One of her greatest joys was sharing stories and proudly speaking about her children and grandchildren.
She was actively involved in numerous civic and social organizations, including the Laconia Hospital Volunteers, Rebekah Lodge, The Order of the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society and the Friendship Club of Laconia. A devoted member of the Congregational Church of Laconia, Lorraine was also a generous supporter of many charitable organizations, including the ASPCA and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Lorraine lived an adventurous life, continuing to seek new experiences well into her later years. After the age of 80, she went on safari in Kenya, took elephant tours in Cambodia, and even went zip-lining in Gilford.
She is survived by her sons, Harold Tuttle Jr. and his wife Linda of Andover and Richard Tuttle of Thornton; her daughter, Lorraine Taschner and her husband Scott of Glastonbury, Connecticut; and her cherished grandchildren, Jon and Thomas Tuttle of Concord, Taylor Taschner of Glastonbury, Connecticut, and Kiera and Katie Tuttle of Danbury. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husbands, Harold Tuttle Sr. and Alfred Doyon, as well as her son, Andrew Tuttle.
