Lisa M. Rojek, 68

Lisa Marie Rojek, 68, of Barnstead, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 14, 1957, in Wolfeboro. Lisa retired after working for 17 years at The Globe in Pittsfield. Lisa was a lifetime member of 32 years of Claude R. Batchelder American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Unit 72 in Alton. She has been active in unit, district, department, and national ALA activities. She served as the American Legion Riders first secretary and was instrumental in establishing what was originally called Chapter 8, later known as ALR Chapter 72 in Alton. Some of her accomplishments were ALA Unit president for seven years, and District 7 director. She has held most department chairmanships. She was an ALA Department of New Hampshire president 2013-14. On the national level she became ALA NEC for the year 2014-15, Eastern Division ALA Junior Activities chairman 2015-16, Eastern Division ALA Girl State National chairman 2016-17, an Eastern Division ALA Legislative chairman 2017-18, and Constitution & Bylaws Committee 2020-21. The American Legion Auxiliary was Lisa’s passion.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Russ Rojek; her daughters, Stacey Butman and Kathy Treadwell; her sons, Cody Rojek and Jeremy Rojek; her grandchildren, Ryan Treadwell and Derrick Perekins; her great-granddaughter, Rosalie Cartier; her sisters, Laura and Susan; her brother, Mark Desautelle; and her cherished dog, Koda.

Lisa was predeceased by her daughter, Courtney Rojek; granddaughter Rihanna Santiago; her parents, Carl and Louise Desautelle; and her brother, Matt Desautelle.

A celebration of life will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, at Claude R. Batchelder Post 72, Alton.
