LACONIA — Lisa Anne Boisselle, 58, of Garfield Street, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Dec. 3, 2025.
Lisa was born on Nov. 28, 1967, in Laconia, the daughter of the late Roland and Patricia (Ives) Boisselle.
Lisa worked for UPS for many years loading the delivery trucks and helping to cover delivery schedules during the Christmas crunch. She spent a lifetime working in the dry-cleaning industry before and after her job at UPS. She had many years invested in Quik Laundry (until the day they closed their doors), Robert’s Dry Cleaning, and Sanitary Cleaners. Lisa’s latest job was 10 years at the Half Moon Motel & Cottages where she ran the laundry department and oversaw the stocking and ordering of supplies and cleaning staff. Lisa took great pride in her work and always showed up early to get a head start.
She enjoyed gardening, going to the beach and spending time with her family and best friend. Lisa always gave herself to the community, donating to local sports groups, volunteering for the Lions Club and Adopt a Spot in Laconia’s South End. She never missed a Fourth of July Parade, Laconia Pumpkinfest or a Laconia Christmas Parade.
Lisa is survived by her son Jacob Bancroft, brother James Boisselle and his wife Stephanie Boisselle, nephew Brice Boissselle and niece Lucy Boisselle of Belmont. Her biggest support system and 47-year best friend Denise Brunelle and her children Savanna Brunelle and Desirae Mayer, her husband Chris Mayer, their son Archer and soon-to-be daughter Evelyn of Laconia. Lisa also leaves behind her beloved pets, D.O.G. the pug and two cats Steps and Izzy.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 11, at St. Andre Bessette Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave.
Burial will be held in the spring of 2026 at South Road Cemetery in Belmont.
