TILTON — Linda A. (Gilbert) Sargent, 62, of Tilton, passed away August 16, 2022 of an acute complication of a chronic illness. Raised in Laconia, the daughter of Armand "Peewee" J. Gilbert and Julia K. (Sliva) Gilbert, Linda graduated Laconia High School in 1979. She resided in Tilton with her husband of 42 years, Kevin R. Sargent, who passed on June 14, 2022. She worked at Wilcom and Aavid for a number of years. She proudly obtained her LNA license and worked at the Laconia Clinic in the OB/GYN department until a chronic autoimmune disease left her disabled.
Linda was the life of any party and loved to dance, joke and have fun. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, whale watches, and skydiving. A kid at heart, Linda was an avid Disney fan with Disney World in Florida being her favorite place.
Linda loved her family and was proud of the three daughters she leaves behind, Angie Prindle and her fiancé, Gregg, of Bedford; Jessica Sargent of Belmont; and Samantha Cremin and her husband, Patrick, of Belmont. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Benjamin, Charlotte, Hannah and Travis; as well as her step-grandchildren, Amelia, Ella, and Freddie.
Linda is survived by her sister, Helen of Colorado Springs, CO; and her brother, Pete (Armand) Gilbert, and his wife, Brenda, of Laconia. Also dear to her were her brothers and sisters-in-law, Shaun and Margaret Sargent of Middleton, Sonny and Vivian Sargent of Jefferson and FL, and Brian Sargent of Perkins TWP, Maine. She was the fun aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Linda will be greatly missed by her neighbors and friends who loved this dynamic woman.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022 at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. A service will be held at 4:00 p.m.
A celebration of life will be held on Sept. 3, 2022 from 1 p.m. to5 p.m. at 679 Route 153 Middleton, NH — Tie-Dye Themed.
